International Men's Day - Made Men
The Gentlemen's Network is an organisation providing recognition and support for males through the transition from boy to man to gentleman; TGN aims to challenge the stereotypes surrounding young black/ethnic minorities whilst raising aspirations and identifying those excelling beyond their potential.
They believe the demand for more male recognition and male role models in our community has grown over the years. Although this is a man’s world, TGN believes males also need a support system for their development in all aspects of life.
In celebration of International Men’s Day, in partnership with STEP NOW; an emerging youth organisation, equipping young people aged 11-25 with the knowledge to make better choices earlier in life, TGN are hosting their annual ‘Made Men’ event.
Made Men is an event designed to recognise positive black males that lead by example and inspire the next generation.
Hosted by David Agyemang, the impressive line up of speakers include:
Poet, Samuel King
PE Teacher and Head of Year, Jordan Campbell
UX Designer and Speaker, Laith Wallace
Financial Advisor and Founder of Noir Excel, Emmanuel Asuquo
Qualified FA Football and England Boxing Coach, Ves Blake
